Adjustable Swivel Top Test Socket (35mm)
This adjustable swivel top test socket (35mm) is a versatile, high-performance solution designed for reliable testing and validation of a wide range of semiconductor devices. Manually loaded with a secure key-lock clamp cover, it provides stable, repeatable contact while allowing PCB components to be placed close to the device under test—maximizing board space efficiency without compromising accessibility.
Flexibility
Engineered to accommodate device sizes from 3x3mm up to 22x22mm (or equivalent contact area), the socket supports fine-pitch applications ranging from 0.1mm to 1.27mm. It is compatible with most common package types, including LGA, QFN, BGA, and Copper Pillar devices. For a 22x22mm LGA, the nominal clamp load is 22.7 kg (50 lbs.), with adjustable clamp force and a factory preset tailored to the specific application to ensure optimal contact performance.
Customizable Features
Designed with flexibility in mind, the socket offers a range of customizable features. The alignment frame can be modified for RF trace clearance, and both metric and imperial mounting hardware options are available. It also supports enhanced heat dissipation strategies and provides support plate clearance for components located beneath the PCB. Higher clamp loads and customer-specific footprints are available upon request, making this socket a highly adaptable solution for demanding test environments.

- 8mm (min) of clearance under the load clamp cover to clear a wide range of surface mounted components on the PCB.
- Can incorporate a heat sink for high power applications.
- Standard sizes:
- 25.4mm Bolt Pattern – up to device size 14x14mm (socket size over PCB: L=40, W=40, H=60+).
- 30mm Bolt Pattern – up to device size 16x16mm (socket size over PCB: L=46, W=46, H=60+).
- 35mm Bolt Pattern – up to device size 22x22mm (socket size over PCB: L=55, W=55, H=60+).
- Custom mounting-bolt footprints are available upon request.
- Socket comes with:
