Double Latch Socket
Flexible With High Performance
The Double Latch Socket [F15] is a flexible, high-performance test socket designed for both manual bench testing and use with automated handlers. Featuring a quick-disconnect double latch load cover for fast, secure operation, it supports devices up to 12x14mm and is compatible with LGA, QFN, BGA, and Copper Pillar packages. The design includes underside pockets to accommodate small PCB components within the socket area, with optional machined channels for RF trace clearance and custom thermal solutions for high-power applications. The standard 30mm bolt pattern supports devices up to 12x14mm (socket size over PCB: 36mm x 36mm x 58mm), with custom mounting footprints available upon request. Each socket assembly includes a contactor/alignment frame with PariPoser® elastomer, load clamp cover assembly, support plate, and socket base plate with mounting hardware.
